We are scientists who live and work in Europe. Politicsblog was founded by Andreas Britt, a political scientist and journalist from Switzerland.

The focus of Politicsblog is on European politics and their economies and on all countries that border the Mediterranean Sea. Despite, or perhaps because of the region’s troubled past and present, it is a place truly central to a great many developments of this world. We discuss their politics, policies and economies.
